Phil Sarnacke has over 40 years experience in engineering plastics and business consulting. He has authored numerous proprietary studies related to automotive interior trim, bumpers, automotive glazing, headliners and polyurethanes market analysis.
His fields of technical expertise include the following polymer families: polyurethanes, ABS, Polycarbonate and blends, and applications of these polymers especially in automotive. His business expertise includes: Opportunity Analysis, plastic materials and new product development processes.
Phil started working for Omni Tech International, Ltd. in 1997. He is the Plastics Commercialization Manager for the United Soybean Board account.
Phil received both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
He is a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers and has co-authored several papers for the Society of Plastic Engineers, The Society of Automotive Engineers, the annual International SPE Conference –TPOs in Automotive and the Global Plastics Environmental Conference (GPEC) of the Society Plastics Engineers. He has also presented papers at the Automotive Materials Symposium sponsored by the Industrial Fabrics Association International, the 2008 Center Polyurethane Industries Annual Technical Conference and the 2008 Polyurethane Foam Association Annual Technical Conference.
